Alaska has some of the most amazing National Parks in the United States. Denali National Park is a fantastic place for mountain climbing, hiking or backpacking. The breathtaking views are worth your visit, and you can view massive glaciers as well as wildlife. Grizzly bears, wolves, caribou and moose make for some excellent photos.

Places with snow and colder temperatures are brilliant places to visit during the non-peak season. You will be missing out if you did not visit Alaska in the winter. The Juneau Ice field Glaciers is a ice field that is situated north of Juneau, Alaska. It is the fifth largest ice field in the Western Hemisphere. It stretches over five hundred miles of land. You can walk up any valley and see a transformation. The rainforest disappears and ice stretches for miles. Devil’s paw is considered the ice field’s highest peak. It is on the Alaska Canada border.
